I’m pretty excited to be showing off this new dress I picked up. Not only do I love pink and EVERYTHING off the shoulder… but this dress is also linen, making it suuuper light and accommodating to my not so nice sun burn and the hot and humid Turks & Caicos weather.
After 5 years away from my home away from home it was exciting to be back, especially with my entire family. It was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and all of my family flew down to surprise them last week. I think they were shocked to see us… but definitely had a feeling that something was going on. Nevertheless, it was pretty cool to see their reaction when we all showed up around the pool.
Back to the outfit, I picked up this dress in January at Honey because I loved the colour and the fact that it’s linen and super light and breezy. Unfortunately, they don’t have a website for me to link to, but I found this J.Crew piece that’s pretty similar. It’s the perfect summer dress, and I’m thankful I didn’t have to wait until June to throw it on! I paired it with a chunky necklace because we were going out for dinner to celebrate and I wanted to dress it up a little. I got this one from J.Crew a few years ago, I’ve linked a similar one here. I thought that my Quay Australia sunglasses would look awesome with the necklace so I grabbed them on the way out the door. These glasses are called Noosa, you can order the exact colour here.
I’m also looking forward to wearing this dress with cowboy boots and a jean jacket, the perfect summer country concert attire.
