6 Most Instagrammable Murals in Austin

Hey Y’all! Happy Sunday!

It’s been while since I’ve posted on here… definitely over a year! I’ve been thinking and reflecting on what makes me happy and what I enjoy doing as I am settling into life in Texas and I’ve really missed this little blog.

It’s not much but it was a place for me to be creative, gave me little weekend projects, and led me to some new friendships. I will post a Texas life update soon, but for today I wanted to share some snippets from some of my Texas exploring.

Mid-July, four of us hopped in the car for a quick girls weekend to Austin. We planned some yummy meals, an afternoon float on the San Marcos River, and some bar hopping on East 6th & Dirty 6th. Of course, along the way we also had to do a little “mural hop” – I think we stopped at over 10 Sunday morning before heading back to Dallas!

I must admit, I wasn’t feeling my best after the Saturday evening bar festivities so the girls gave me a little tough love and told me to “get it together” :p

I’ve rounded up my favourite 6 most instagrammable murals… because let’s be honest, we totally do it for the gram ๐Ÿ˜‰

Locations are also listed so that y’all can check out these murals too! Drop your pics in the comments – would love to see which ones you’ve visited!

Happy mural hunting y’all!

This was our first stop, we accidentally stumbled upon this one while waiting for our brunch table to be ready. This one is in the downtown area, near tons of cool restaurants and bars.

2. G R E E T I N G S  F R O M  A U S T I N

Don’t forget to stop and visit the iconic Greetings from Austin! This mural super cute and hidden on a little side street in a neighborhood in South Congress.

3. H E L L O  D A R L I N ‘

This mural was also in South Congress and there was two others beside it that would also be cute for photo ops!

4. T I L L  D E A T H  D O  U S  P A R T

This one was super close to our airbnb, on the opposite side of 355. Definitely check out this one, especially if you love a little rock’n’roll.

5. D O N ‘ T  M E S S  W I T H  T E X A S

This one was by far my fav – but be careful, it’s right off a busy road next to the and your photog will have to get pretty close to oncoming traffic to get the shot!

6. L O V E  F R O M  A U S T I N

I end it here with this one, my fav Dallas blogger Hey Madi Nelson posted this one on her feed before our trip so it was a must see!

That’s all for now, from Austin, with love!
