Hi Y’all, Happy Fall!
Not only am I long overdue for a new blog post, (it’s been almost 2 months!!) but it’s Fall and I’ve yet to post! So happy Fall, y’all! If you’re like me and love anything and everything pumpkin spice, and every Fall activity possible, then you know this is the happiest time of year!
A few weeks ago, on a sunny Saturday morning I ventured to two of my favourite farm markets. Mostly for the pumpkins, but I also picked up some fresh apples and a few delicious soups.
If you live in the GTA, you definitely need to check out Hy-Hope and Willow Tree Farms. Both are super cute and have such great selections of fresh fruit and veg, homemade pastries and fun Fall activities!
Willow Tree Farms
Willow Tree Farms is a recently renovated farm just north of Toronto, nestled in the rolling green hills of Port Perry.
They have the best Farms fresh veggies and fruit, baked goods, pasta sauces, homemade soups, pastas and a great butcher shop. I picked up some soups, a pumpkin pie and 3 pumpkins for the front door. Check out their Fall decor below!
Hy-Hope Farms
Hy-Hope Farms is just down the road from Willow Tree Farms and is one of my favourite places to go apple picking late Summer/early Fall! They have a small apple orchard, with a great variety and the BEST hot apple cider.
We picked some fresh apples and sipped on some hot cider all while enjoying the sun!
